Blog Post 25 - Exhibition Extraordinaire!
Welcome back to the Beacon Blog! This week was an exciting one, particularly toward the end of the week. After returning back to normality after rubbing shoulders with some of the stars of the Premier League last week, I was pleased to be in the office and working towards our next big dates, the Summer exhibitions.
I feel much more prepared for the upcoming Expo’s thanks to the brilliant insights from Mike Monk, who’s running the B2B Expo’s at Fontwell and Brighton Race courses in May and October respectively. With a month to go to the West Sussex Expo at Fontwell Park, Mike invited exhibitors along to a workshop, taking us through the process of how to make the most of your time, before, during and after the show. It was a lovely brisk but bright Thursday morning at Fontwell Park and I learnt an awful lot that I aim to employ in my future shows. I also had a lovely time chatting with the other attendees, some of whom were old hands and just wanted refreshers, and others who were as fresh to business exhibiting as me! With a number of events scheduled in our 2018 Beacon diary, it was an unmissable morning and I was certainly glad to have made the trip along the somewhat busy A27.
The first of these events we have scheduled over the next few months, is the Burgess Hill Means Business Exhibition being held at the Kings Church Centre on Friday the 4th May. The Burgess Hill Business Parks Association members shall be out in full force promoting their own businesses, as well as the wider business-scape of Burgess Hill. Being in the heart of mid-Sussex it’s the perfect location for this kind of event, where you can pop along for a cup of tea or a coffee and some great conversation with passionate and driven business people from the area. Please feel free to drop by and say hello to us between 11am and 3pm!
Til next time,
