The Beacon Group was founded in early 2005 by two of the UK financial services most
experienced executives, Mark Abbott and Andrew Townsend. The group has an entrepreneurial
culture and offers a range financial services.
The Beacon Group consists of a holding company which owns and carries out its activities
through two businesses (each separately regulated by the Financial Services Authority):
A residential mortgage lender offering products distributed through selected professional
mortgage packagers including our own company Beacon Mortgage Packaging Ltd.
Working directly with mortgage brokers, Beacon Mortgage Packaging has access to
‘High Street’ and specialist lenders. Providing solutions to brokers
whose clients require a mortgage.
